Day 1 :
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve by Air
Whether you’re staying in a hotel, residence, or arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we’ll pick you up in time for your flight to the Masai Mara from Wilson Airport. Enjoy the scenic flight as the ancient landscapes, believed to be the cradle of human evolution, unfold beneath you. Upon arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip, your driver will transfer you to your accommodation just in time for lunch. This is your moment to relax and take in the stunning surroundings. Once settled, embark on your first game drive—an exciting opportunity to spot some of the Big Five and start familiarizing yourself with the vast Masai Mara grasslands. After returning to your camp or lodge, enjoy dinner before unwinding for the evening. Many accommodations offer viewing terraces or private rooms, perfect for observing the park’s nocturnal wildlife.
Day 2 :
Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
While your flight into the Masai Mara provided breathtaking views, you can elevate the experience with a hot air balloon ride for an additional cost. Drift over the plains at sunrise, witnessing the dawn from above, followed by a luxurious bubbly bush breakfast with scenic views of the lush landscapes. Continue your day with game drives, either spending the full day exploring the reserve with a picnic lunch or returning to the lodge for a midday break before another exciting drive. You also have the unique opportunity to visit a Maasai village. For an additional $20, enjoy traditional dancing, tour the village, and step inside a local home for an intimate cultural experience. Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to see the Big Five along with many more, as you explore the vast wilderness. After a thrilling day of wildlife encounters, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3 :
Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi by Air
Dawn on the Masai Mara is a magical time, as the wildlife stirs from its nightly rest or returns to shelter. Today, you’ll have the chance to experience the serene dawn chorus across the plains, a truly unforgettable moment. After soaking in the morning light, you'll return to your accommodation for a leisurely breakfast and check out. Your final drive through the park to the airstrip may offer one last chance to spot the majestic creatures of the Mara. Upon arrival at the airstrip, board your flight back to Nairobi. Once in the capital, we will collect you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel, residence, or to JKIA for your flight back home or to further destinations.
