Itinerary
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi Hotel in the morning and have a safari briefing before your departure. Depart Nairobi for a drive to Lake Naivasha via the viewpoint to witness the Great Rift Escarpment. Make a stopover at Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride to watch the African Fish Eagle and Pelicans fishing and hippos. To spice the safari memories, you will take a nature walk alongside the lake shore.
Later, depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, and check in. Have a little siesta, and later on an evening game drive. Visit the lake for the flocks of flamingos and other birds. Track the black and white rhinoceros near the lake and enjoy more game drives on the mainland. Later, we will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the lodge with views of the beautiful Lake Nakuru and sunrise till around 0830am to 0900am. Check out and enjoy yet another short game drive, then use the Mau – Narok road drive to Masai Mara game reserve to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, and a little siesta. Later on, enjoy an evening game drive from 1600hrs across the best Kenya game reserve till sunset. Return to the lodge with short Masai mara safari memories for dinner and overnight.
Masai Mara is famously known as the jewel of the wild animal viewing area, and a full day will be a great idea to spice up your safari experience. Depart the lodge in the morning immediately after breaking ready for more than 8 hours of game search and viewing. Transverse the savannah grassland in search of wild animals, enjoy several up-close encounters, and take great photos with the help of the safari guide.
Game drive to Mara River point of the crossing during the annual great migration from July to October… It’s also a great point for taking a guarded nature walk to see the hippos and crocodiles on the riverbank. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the wilderness and continue with the game search till late evening around 1700hrs. Drive to your lodge for an optional activity, dinner, bonfire, and overnight.
Early breakfast at your lodge, check out and depart the Masai mara area via Migori to the Isebania border for immigration and exchange of guides. Kenyan driver guide will transfer you to Tanzanian Safari guide. Depart the Isebania border at noon and drive to Serengeti National Park for an Afternoon and evening game drive en route to the central Serengeti area. Arrive at your safari campsite/lodge with a thrilling safari experience for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Serengeti National Park is famous for the massive migration of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes followed by a large number of cats. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, Hyena, and other cats. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing as you follow the migration (when in season). Explore the Mara River area, Grumeti River, hippo pools, and several kopjes in search of the great wild animals of Serengeti National Park.
Later in the evening, have an additional game drive back to the central Serengeti accommodation property for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast, then check for the final game drive in Serengeti National Park. Visit the Mawe area in search of more wild animals to enrich your Kenya and Tanzania safari. By noon exit Serengeti National Park with an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge Museum at extra cost and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservancy area. After checking in at your lodge, decide if to visit the local Masai people and interact with them before returning for dinner and overnight.
Ngorongoro Crater is a protected area and a world heritage site. This Kenya and Tanzania Safari is planned for a 6-hour thrilling game drive down the crater rim. Ngorongoro Crater recorded more than 25,000 animal species, including the few remaining black Rhinos, big mammals, and a large number of birds. The safari experience here is worthwhile as you learn more from your guide about the formation of this crater, resulting in one of the seven wonders of the world. Later, with awesome safari memories, exit and drive to Tarangire National Park to arrive in the late evening for dinner and overnight.
Tarangire National Park is a great safari destination due to the large herds of elephants and large baobab trees. The Tarangire River also acts as a magnet to attract wildlife in search of drinking water. After breakfast, we enjoy a thrilling game drive along the Tarangire River with great sightseeing of the day. Tarangire is unique as some of the rare species like Gerenuk and wildebeest are found here. Enjoy the final game drive. The Exciting Kenya and Tanzania safari experience will come to an end in the afternoon. We exit Tarangire and drive to Arusha for one more night to relax. Enjoy your dinner and share your safari experience.
The safari will end with a transfer to your departure point to other safari destinations or for a flight back home. This will be arranged as per the information provided by the client at the time of booking.
