Itinerary

You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and transferred to a Hotel in Nairobi, where you will be booked on Bed & Breakfast. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Lunch and Dinner on own arrangements.

Breakfast and at 0930hrs, commence the days’ Excursions buy visiting the National Museum of Kenya. The National Museum houses extensive ornithological collections, animals and ethnographic displays of various tribes in Kenya. Visitors will be able to observe exhibits of fossil from Lake Turkana, geological displays, rock arts from Tanzania and exhibits about topics such as Swahili and Asian culture in Kenya and Masai Mara Wildlife.

At 1130hrs, proceed on a tour of Nairobi City. Nairobi is the largest city between Cairo and Johannesburg. Although the "Green City in the Sun" is relatively young by world standards, it has a fascinating history and many equally fascinating people have settled here over the years, each leaving their mark on the city in some way. You'll pass by modern day Nairobi landmarks like: The Law courts, Parliament Buildings, and the uniquely shaped Kenyatta International Conference Centre and perhaps pick up a few bargains at the colorful Masai Market.

Lunch on own arrangement and then proceed to the nearby Two Rivers Mall for Shopping and outdoor entertainment at the Two Rivers Mall’s Funscapes Theme Park. Two Rivers Mall sits on circa 67,000 sqm and is the largest shopping center in SSA (outside of SA) with over 200 stores offering local and international experiences. It's anchored by retail giant Carrefour and boasts fan favorites like Nike, Burger King, Hardees, Magic Planet, Spur, Swarovski, LC Waikiki, Platform, Ashley Furniture, Art Cafe and cinemas. Besides shopping, you will spend the day having fun at the Funscapes Theme Park, Magic Planet and the Skate Park. The entertainment includes a ride on Africa’s largest Ferris Wheel, which offers riders incredible panoramic views of the Kenyan capital. Dubbed ‘Eye of Kenya’, the 60-metre-tall amusement park-style attraction, consists of 40 fully enclosed air-conditioned cabins each sitting up to six passengers who are taken 60 meters above the ground in safety and comfort of the full circle ride. The Ferris Wheel rotates slowly but constantly, allowing riders to get on and off without stopping. The ride takes about 17 minutes.
Later, you will be dropped back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Morning breakfast and at 10.00hrs, you will be picked up and driven to enjoy a cultural experience at the Bomas of Kenya.Bomas of Kenya was established in 1971 with an aim of promoting and preserving Kenya's diverse cultures. It is a cultural villagethat serves as Kenya's cultural microcosm. Bomas of Kenya offers visitors an opportunity to experience diverse culture and values through dances and traditional performance by entertainers from many tribes in Kenya. It is located in Langata near the main gate of Nairobi National Park. The word Boma means homestead in Swahili. Bomas of Kenya has more to offer on top of Taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances and vigorous Embu drumming among other captivating performances. Traditional homesteadsof various tribe’s present visitors with good opportunity to taste Kenya's diverse traditions and culture while just about 20 minutes from the capital Nairobi. There are also meeting halls, picnic sites, kid’s playground and sports facilities.

Lunch today will be on own.

Later head to Uhuru Gardens. Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museumis a commemorative park and museum in Nairobi, Kenya that celebrates independence from the British Empire in 12 December 1963. The word "uhuru" is Swahili for "freedom". It contains three points of significance:

The Mũgumo tree (Ficus sycomorus), purportedly planted in the exact location the Union Jack, or more likely the former Flag of the Colony of Kenya, was removed and the Flag of Kenya was placed. The tree is also of significance to the Kikuyu people.

The independence commemorative monument, built in 1973, is a twenty-four-meter-high column, supporting a pair of clasped hands and a dove of peace. This point celebrates the declaration of independence at midnight, 12 December 1963. It also celebrates the inauguration of Kenya's first president, Jomo Kenyatta, in the same night. On one side of this monument is a statue of soldiers raising the Kenyan flag.

Thereafter, visit the Kazuri Beads Workshop for bead jewelry & ceramics handcrafted by local women with tours & an on-site store.The jewelry and pottery created by the Kazuri is truly beautiful, where patience is needed to do the detailed work by hand that the women of the factory do. Take a tour of the factory and you can buy yourself a souvenir like a couple of necklaces and many more.
You will then be dropped back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

In the Mid-morning, you will be headed to the Maasai Open Air Market. One of the great experiences for safari-goers in Nairobi is a visit to the Maasai Market. At these open-air markets travelers can find curios, paintings, drawings, clothes, and fabrics with East African prints, jewelry, and wood carvings, many hand-made in Kenya by local artisans. You can buy all your souvenirs and gifts in one go. There is a wide range of merchandise available in this outdoor market.

Later in the afternoon, your driver guide will take you to the Fairview Coffee Estate, which is home to the world’s finest coffee, lies in the heart of Kenya’s Central Highlands.
Fairview Estate exposes you to an immersive, experiential, and educational coffee tourism experience that includes (a) understanding how coffee is grown, (b) learning about the processing process, and (c) tasting at least a couple of Fairview’s renowned brands. The tour is captivating and engage you in the intricate details of the coffee making process from the budding of the flowers to the final cup of freshly brewed coffee.
Overnight at your Nairobi Hotel.

Full day at leisure at your Hotel in Nairobi where you will be booked on Bed and Breakfast. You will spend this day enjoying the myriads of recreational facilities available at the hotel.
Lunch & dinner on own arrangements.

Departure

Breakfast transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home (Check out is at 1000hrs).
